MISSION STATEMENT

The St. James Men's Club strives to enhance the Parish as a more vibrant Catholic Christian Community. It does this by challenging its members to a deeper relationship with God, sponsors an annual Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP) Retreat, and by social and service activities that support the entire Parish. All meeting and events will be done in full faithfulness with the Traditions and Teachings of the Catholic Church.

OBJECTIVES

To challenge and support each member for personal Spiritual Growth and Formation in order for our own lives to be more pleasing to God.

To build and maintain a Strong Christian Fellowship amongst the members that fosters Respect and mutual support.

To conduct weekly Membership Meetings that feature a Group Prayer Service, Member Witness Talks, Scripture Studies and reviewing current Christian Literature.

Organize and conduct at least one annual Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP) Weekend Retreat open to all male members of the St. James Parish Family over the age of 18.

To plan social events for the group or the entire Parish such as Pot Luck Dinners, attending local Sporting Events, Movie Nights, etc.

To actively support other Parish Ministries that need assistance for larger events such as Parish Festival, Youth Group, Generations Of Faith, etc.

To ALWAYS remain open to the prompting of the HOLY SPIRIT for guidance as the size and needs of the group change.

To actively seek new members for the group from the Parish male population.
